Daily from 10:00 to 20:00; last entry for floors 124-125 is at 19:00, for floors 148 and 152-154 at 18:00.

Burj Khalifa in Dubai: ticket prices and opening hours

The Burj Khalifa stands in the centre of Dubai and has long been a symbol not only of the city but of the whole UAE. The tower's height is a record 828 metres, 180 of which belong to the world's longest spire.

Most people come for the observation decks: from more than 450 metres up you can see all of Dubai, from the old districts by the creek to the Palm Jumeirah and the desert.

What to see inside

At the Top, levels 124 and 125. The main observation deck at 456 metres, with floor-to-ceiling windows, an outdoor terrace and telescopes. You can stay here as long as you like.

At the Top SKY, level 148. A higher deck with its own outdoor terrace, refreshments and fast-track entry. You can spend up to 30 minutes on level 148 and then continue to levels 124–125 for as long as you wish.

The Lounge, levels 152–154. The world's highest lounge, 585 metres up, with canapés and drinks.

At.mosphere restaurant on level 122. Instead of a deck, you can book the At.mosphere panoramic restaurant and dine with a view of the city.

Armani Hotel. If you want to stay inside the tallest tower in the world, the Armani Hotel Dubai occupies part of it.

The record still stands: the Dubai Creek Tower, meant to be taller, has been on hold since the start of the pandemic.

How to get there

The observation decks are entered through The Dubai Mall. The nearest metro station is Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall on the Red Line. By car, the most convenient parking is the Fashion Avenue car park at The Dubai Mall.

Tips before you go

Book online in advance for a specific time: at peak hours there are queues at the ticket desks, and sunset slots cost more and sell out first. Arrive early — the entrance can get crowded at busy times.

Go on a clear day: in dusty haze the view is lost. At sunset you can watch the city lights come on, and you can see the Dubai Fountain from above, although the details of the show are hard to make out from level 124.

Only small handbags are allowed. Backpacks, shopping bags and strollers are left in the luggage room near the entrance.
