Emirates Palace Hotel

When we say "Arab hospitality" we mean the service at Emirates Palace. When we say "oriental luxury" we mean the magnificent interiors and comfort of this hotel. This hotel is a symbol of the emirate of Abu Dhabi. The construction of this compleх cost even more than the construction of the seven-star Burj Al Arab hotel, and also more than the tallest tower in the world, Burj Khalifa erection.

The Emirates Palace is a work of architectural art. Marble for its decoration was imported from 13 countries of the world. 6 thousand square meters of walls are covered with 22-carat gold. A team of 10 people regularly works to keep the chandeliers with Swarovski crystals in order.

The hotel provides a full range of services. It has a private beach, swimming pools for adults and children, playgrounds for children, golf fields, a football field, a volleyball court, a rugby field, a fitness center, a park with fountains, a yacht club, and conference rooms, nine restaurants of national and European cuisine.

New name: Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental

Since February 2023 the hotel has been officially named Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi — management passed from Kempinski to the Mandarin Oriental group, while the building itself and its status as a national symbol stayed the same. The rebrand came with a large-scale renovation of rooms and public areas, a new spa and sports facilities, and the region's first «vegan rooms» with eco-friendly bedding and a plant-based in-room dining menu. Most sources and maps still refer to the hotel simply as Emirates Palace out of habit.

La Cafe is the place where you can get a very exquisite experience. You ask the waiter to serve you a Palace Cappucino, and they bring you a fragrant cappuccino on a silver tray with a pattern of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque on foam and 999 gold chips. Coffee is served with a glass of water, a date, and a small bar of chocolate. The cost of a drink is 76 dirhams (about $20). If you want to order a cake, you will need to pay an additional $10.

Emirates Palace Hotel Prices

Earlier this hotel was considered the most expensive in the world. But since 2018 The President Wilson Hotel in Geneva was called the most expensive hotel.

Prices have risen noticeably after the renovation and rebrand: a live check on Booking.com showed rates from around $1,000–1,100 per night for a standard room in November (high season, October to April) — almost double the level of a few years ago. Playing with dates and room type can still find cheaper options.

From May till September, prices are lower — it’s rather hot for a beach vacation in Abu Dhabi, but the city is still convenient for business trips, though even in low season this remains one of the priciest hotels in town.
