Corniche Promenade

The Corniche promenade stretches for 8 km along the sea and one of the central districts of Abu Dhabi, Al Hubara. This is the perfect place for a walk for those who want something bright, but do not know what. There is a spacious pedestrian zone, bike paths and bike rental (about $8 per hour, plus Careem Bike/Cyacle bike-share stations with hourly or daily pricing), children's playgrounds, cafes, and restaurants, parks and fountains, and an excellent beach equipped with everything necessary for perfect beach recreation.

The Corniche is a great place for a morning run or an evening promenade, but during the day, especially at lunchtime, it will be a little hot here. In the evenings, part of the promenade near the family zone turns into a lit «night beach» — open late specifically for family strolls after sunset.
The embankment is located 3 km from the city center, so you can get here on foot, by taxi or buses No. 005, 034 and 063.
