Corniche beach

Corniche Beach stretches along the most prominent promenade of Abu Dhabi, the Corniche. This is a beautiful sandy beach that stretches more than 2 km long.

The beach is divided into sectors: paid, free, and a family sector for families, women, and children.

The entrance fee to the paid part is about 10 AED (roughly $3) for adults and 5 AED for children; children under 5 enter free. Entry to the public (free) part of the beach is free, but there are no sun loungers or umbrellas for rent there.

All areas of the Corniche beach are equipped with everything you need: showers and toilets, changing cabins, more than 30 cafes and restaurants, as well as volleyball and football fields and playgrounds. In the evenings, a lit «night beach» opens near the family zone for strolls after sunset.
