Abu Dhabi Beach is located between Corniche Beach and Lulu Island (the free public stretch of the Al Sahil promenade). Here you will find kilometers of fine white sand, a warm sea, and an endless blue sky. You cannot rent sun loungers and umbrellas here, but there are changing cabins, toilets and showers, parking, as well as a long and picturesque promenade and beautiful views of the city.
You shouldn't go here for perfect service; it's better to go to paid beaches or the partially paid Corniche. But it's quite possible to relax here on a hot day, especially if you live somewhere nearby.
