HQ Al Dar

One of the most unusual buildings in Abu Dhabi is located in the Al Raha area. The skyscraper houses the headquarters of the construction company Aldar Properties.

The building is round and made of blue glass. From a distance, HQ Al Dar resembles a coin. During the day, the building shimmers beautifully in the sun, and at night, the offices glow.

This building was the first round skyscraper in the world, and its project in 2008 was awarded as "the best futuristic project".

In addition, the building uses the most high-tech systems from heating, drainage, and waste collection. It may seem that a building of this shape is unsafe, but in fact all parts are connected in such a way that even the most terrible winds do not threaten the safety of the building.
