The Dubai Aquarium

One of the most famous attractions in Dubai is located in the Dubai Mall. The aquarium is best known for its tunnel, where flocks of fish, rays, and even sharks swim above your head. 
The facts first: the height of the aquarium is 50 m, which is comparable to the height of a 3-storey building, and more than 33 thousand fish and other marine citizens live in this aquarium (over 140 species, including about 300 sharks and rays, giant crocodiles, and penguins).

Most people take pictures of the tunnel. But if you want to get an unusual experience - go diving right in the aquarium so that people will take pictures of you, not only of colorful fish. And if the blood boils in your veins and you want more extreme, swim with sharks under the supervision of qualified aquarium staff.

Another service you can use here is swimming on the surface of the aquarium on a boat with a transparent bottom, a kind of lightweight version of diving. All these options are available at the aquarium's box office.

The aquarium is open Sunday to Wednesday from 10:00 to 22:00, and Thursday to Saturday until midnight.
