Yas Mall is the largest shopping mall in Abu Dhabi and the second largest in the UAE after Dubai Mall, on Yas Island.
What's in the mall
About 400 shops, including Candilicious, a sweet shop with treats from around the world, around 90 cafés and restaurants for every taste and budget, the large Adventure HQ kids' entertainment centre, a cinema, beauty salons and a fitness centre.
On the ground floor is an unusual attraction: a Dream Aero Boeing 737 NG flight simulator, the same type used to train real pilots. The flight runs with an instructor, and the cabin fits up to 4 people (pilot, instructor and two observers).
Ferrari World is right next to the mall, so it's easy to combine both in one day.
How to get there
Yas Island, where the mall is located, is linked to central Abu Dhabi by the free Yas Island Shuttle — it usually leaves from the island's larger hotels; check the schedule at your hotel's reception.
Tips before you go
The mall is open daily from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm; on some days shops and the food court may stay open later. If you're combining it with Ferrari World next door, plan for a full day.
