Dubai Spice Souk

The spice market in Dubai is located in the Deira district near the Gold Souk.

This place can be found by smell. Saffron and barberry begins to smell a couple of kilometers away.

The place itself is very colorful - there are huge bags of spices around, fragrant boxes and bags are being unloaded from cars, and the air is filled with fragrances of absolutely everything. You should definitely come here and buy bags of cloves, cardamom, fennel, and ginger, and then put it all in food and drinks and remember the trip.

Since this is a market, you can and even need to bargain here. The price will be at least twice less. No need to be shy, this is folk art.

In addition to spices, here you can buy fabrics, national clothes and shoes, sweets and a variety of souvenirs. And the spice market is very photogenic, so if you don’t have enough impressions and beautiful photos, come here.

After exploring the market, take a walk along the waterfront along Dubai Creek. And if you take a boat, you can swim across to the other side and take a walk in the historical district Al Fahidi.
