Gold Souk

Here you will find a great amount of gold jewelry from minimalist to absolutely luxurious. Prices are quite reasonable, the only point is that it makes no sense to focus on the price tag. The main thing in the Arab market is the ability to bargain, so put aside the constraint and go ahead.

Even if you are not planning a purchase, it is worth coming here just for a tour, because you are unlikely to see such an abundance of gold in any ordinary jewelry store.

The souk is open Saturday-Thursday 10:00-22:00, Friday 16:00-22:00; many stalls close for a lunch break roughly 13:00-16:00. More than 380 jewellery shops operate here. The nearest metro station is Al Ras.
