La Mer Beach

The best free public beach in Dubai is located in the prestigious Jumeirah area. La Mer beach was opened recently, so it has a wonderful new infrastructure.

The beach is sandy, very clean and has everything you need for a perfect beach holiday: rent of chaise-lounges and umbrellas (about $ 30 per day), showers and toilets, wooden paths leading to the sea, cafes and restaurants, food and souvenir shops, shops with beach goods, children's and sports grounds.

Most visitors comment that La Mer is the best public beach in Dubai and who we are to argue with that. The beach is really good and was created specifically to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The sand is fine and very clean. If you don't want to rent a chaise-lounge, you can sit comfortably on your own towel. There is always a lot of space, so you can easily find a free area near the water or vice versa, in the shade.

La Mer beach is a great choice at any time of the day. In the morning and at lunchtime, you can bask in the sun and splash in the waves, enjoying ice cream, and in the evening you should come here to meet a beautiful sunrise in pastel colors and breathe freshness.

How to get to La Mer beach

The easiest way to get here is by taxi or bus number 8 or C10. The stops are called Century Plaza or Beach Centre.
