Al Mamzar Beach Park is a popular public beach in Deira, right by the border with Sharjah. It is a large green park with several beaches, palm trees and lawns for picnics.
The beach is sandy, lined with coconut palms, with paths for running and cycling.
What you'll find on the beach
Facilities. Shade structures, sun lounger and umbrella hire, barbecue areas, and cafés and kiosks selling food and beach gear nearby.
Pools — you can swim in one of the park's pools for an extra fee.
The lagoon beach. Next to the park, around the lagoon, is a separate public beach, Khor Al Mamzar. It reopened after a full rebuild in May 2026, with a 3.6 km shoreline, a floating walkway, water sports, running and cycling tracks and a lit night beach open around the clock. It is not part of the park and has its own access.
How to get there
The park is in Al Mamzar, Deira. A taxi or car is the easiest option; parking inside the park is paid, outside it is free.
Tips before you go
According to Dubai Municipality, the park is open daily from 8 am to 10 pm (travel guides say until 11 pm Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays). Entry, according to travel guides, is AED 5 per person, free for children under 2.
On Mondays and Wednesdays the park is open to women and children only (boys over 6 cannot enter on those days).
