Al Mamzar Beach Park

The popular Al Mamzar Public Beach Park is located in Deira.
The beach is sandy, coconut palms grow along the beach, paths for jogging and cycling are built. Not far from the beach there are several cozy cafes, restaurants, kiosks with food and beach accessories, as well as grocery stores. The beach park is very green, there are canopies, you can rent a chaise-lounger, and even have a barbecue. You can swim in one of the pools for an extra fee (AED 10 for adults, AED 5 for children).

Near the beach park the Al Mamzar Lake is located, and another beach  lies around it. There are also bicycle and jogging paths but they are not too popular because a road passes by it. Nevertheless, it is good to come here in the evening to have a picnic and watch the sunset. The beach offers a view not of Dubai, but of the neighboring emirate - Sharjah and from here you can reach it by foot. Interesting, isn't it?

Al Mamzar Beach Park is open Sunday to Wednesday from 8:00 to 22:00, and Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays until 23:00.

The entrance fee is AED 5 (≈$1.4) per person, children under 2 enter free. Parking inside the park is paid (AED 30), while parking outside is free. On Mondays and Wednesdays the park is open to women and children only (boys over 6 are not admitted on these days).
