Al Khan Beach

Sharjah's best free beach is located near the Aquarium, about 5 km from the city center.
This beach is very clean, with fine white sand and clear water. It's popular with locals, and tourists like to stop by too, but there's always plenty of room.
The beach is equipped with everything you need for a great beach day: umbrella and sun lounger rentals (about $5 per set), changing cabins, toilets and showers, cafes and snack bars, jet ski rental and other entertainment, playgrounds.
The Almakhawi mosque is located near the beach, so try not to walk beyond the beach area in swimwear.
