One of Sharjah's longest beaches stretches along the Al Corniche waterfront.
The beach is free. It's fairly clean, sprawling palm trees line the beach, the sand is fine, and the slope into the water is fairly gentle.
On one side of the beach, ships and boats are moored and swimming is prohibited there, but if you walk past them, you'll reach a spacious beach.
The beach is free and unequipped. You can come here with your own umbrella and towel and have a great time.
Since the beach by the Al Corniche waterfront is close to the city center, it's better to come here in relatively modest clothing — a t-shirt with shorts or a sundress. Al Corniche Beach is more of a place to spend some quiet time by the water, for example in the evening.
