Sharjah Aquarium and Maritime Museum
A large aquarium with hundreds of species of fish and other marine life is located next to the Maritime Museum of shipping and seafaring equipment on the shore of the Persian Gulf. If you wish, you can visit both museums with a combined ticket. The museums are a couple of minutes' walk from Al Khan beach.
At the museum you can admire the fish, pet the rays, watch the shark feeding, and visit the cafe. There is a playground next to the museum.
The combined ticket for the aquarium and Maritime Museum costs approximately 25 AED (about $7) for adults and 15 AED (about $4) for children 2–12, children under 2 enter free.
