Global Village

The idea of ​​the Global Village park is to unite all the cultures of the world in one place. The Global Village is a cultural and entertainment center, a trading platform, and an open-air gastronomic club.

The Village consists of dozens of pavilions where 27 countries of the world present and sell their products. The task of each pavilion is not only to sell products and souvenirs but also to tell about the history, culture, and art of their country. The pavilion is not an ordinary trading pavilion, but a huge building built in the form of a recognizable landmark. Here are the pyramids, ancient Greek temples, palaces and so on.

In addition to 30 shopping pavilions, 50 attractions for children and adults, shows and performances from different countries, and masterclasses where you can learn to sculpt, cook, weave, sew, draw, dance, and play folk games are waiting for you. You can also watch the light and music show of the fountains and enjoy the fireworks.

The territory of the Global Village park becomes more interesting every year. For example, there is a park with an artificial river that flows through the entire Village. There are bridges across the river, and on the water, you can swim in small boats-gondolas.

New attractions are constantly added - ferries, roller coasters, go-karts, mazes, and trampolines.

Useful tips before visiting

You'd better visit the village in the evening. The heat subsides, the lights are lit in the pavilions, a fire show is held not far from you, and a special atmosphere fills the village.

Take cash with you - cards are accepted not everywhere.

Remember the dress code - almost all establishments in Dubai are allowed only with covered shoulders and knees, Global Village is no exception.

Global Village opening hours and prices

In 2019-2020, the village is open from October 29 to April 4.

From Saturday to Wednesday, the village is open from 16.00 to midnight.

Thursdays and Fridays from 4:00 pm to 1:00 am.

Every Monday the park is open only for families and women with children.

The entrance ticket prices starts from $4.

How to get to the Global Village

You can reach the Village by bus number 102 (rides from the Rashidiya metro station), 103 (from the Ittihad metro station), 104 (from the Al Ghubaiba metro station), or 106 (from the Mall of the Emirates metro station). The stop is called Global Village. Buses run from 15.30 to 23.15. Travel time is half an hour.
