Saadiyat Beach

Saadiyat Island's main beach, once the free "public beach", has operated since 2024 as the Kai Beach beach club — the same stretch of coast, now paid and fully equipped. The beach is about 500 metres long, with fine pearl-coloured sand and bright blue water.

You may see bottlenose dolphins and sea turtles, and rare hawksbill turtles lay their eggs on Saadiyat.

What you'll find on the beach

Loungers and facilities. Sun loungers, showers, toilets and lockers; towels cost extra. Part of the entry fee can be spent at the beach café, and outside food and drinks are not allowed.

Cabanas for groups or families cost extra. There are no reservations: spots are first come, first served.

How to get there

The beach is on Saadiyat Island, near the Cultural District and the Louvre Abu Dhabi. A taxi or car is the easiest option, and there is parking at the beach.

Tips before you go

Arrive at opening time: at weekends free loungers go quickly. Children aged 5 and under enter free, but visitors under 18 must be with an adult.

To stay right on the beach, choose a hotel with its own beach access — The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, with Mediterranean-style rooms, or Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas.
