Ain Dubai

On the waterfront of Bluewaters Island, near Dubai Marina and JBR, stands Ain Dubai — a giant observation wheel 250 metres tall, one of the largest in the world. The name means "Eye of Dubai".

What to see

From the cabin you get sweeping views of the coastline, the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah, the Burj Al Arab, Downtown Dubai and Burj Khalifa. In total, the wheel accommodates 1,750 people across 48 cabins. Some cabins serve drinks, and some can even host a wedding or other event.

The wheel was closed for extensive technical inspection and an upgrade from March 2022, and reopened to the public on 26 December 2024 after almost three years.

How to get there

You can reach the wheel via the bridge leading from the pier on the JBR waterfront. Bus F57 also runs to Bluewaters Island from Jebel Ali metro station daily from 6am to midnight (until 1am on Fridays).

Tips before you go

Ain Dubai operates daily from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, with last admission at 8:15 pm (hours may change on holidays — check aindubai.com for the current schedule). A ticket for one adult starts from AED 149 — pricier options exist too (premium cabins, drinks packages, VIP tiers), so it's worth comparing rates on the official site or a trusted reseller before buying. Ticket holders get up to 4 hours of free parking on Bluewaters Island — validate your ticket at the ticket office.
