Dubai Marina and The Walk

The most popular promenade in Dubai is located in Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) and the Dubai Marina and is called The Walk. The embankment stretches for 7 km along the Persian Gulf. Walking along it, you will pass by the pier with rhythmically swaying yachts, elegant restaurants and cozy cafes with outdoor terraces, skyscrapers propped up by clouds, spacious sandy beaches.

During the day, people come to The Walk for jogging or cycling, and in the evening to dine in a gourmet restaurant. The most popular type of meal among guests of the city is dinner on a traditional Arabic dhow or a yacht. Such boats either stand at the piers or float along the bay, allowing people to combine a sightseeing tour and a romantic dinner. You can book such a dinner-excursion in advance, or you can find options on the spot.
A dinner cruise on the marina costs approximately $40-50, which includes a boat trip along the Dubai Marina area with dinner.

There is the large Dubai Marina Mall not far from the waterfront, which offers a huge range of European and local brands of clothing, shoes and accessories, as well as a lot of entertainment for children and adults.

How to get to the Dubai Marina

You can get here by taxi or by metro - the stop is called Dubai Marina.  The tram-stations are called Dubai Marina and Dubai Marina Mall.
