Central Souk of Sharjah

The life of any Arab city revolves around its market, and Sharjah is no exception.
The market consists of two «terminals» connected by a gallery. One sells gold, silver, and jewelry, and the other sells fabric, leather, and other goods. Around it are small shops with incense, dried fruits, and spices. The market is one of the most colorful places in the emirate, so it's exactly where you should go for souvenirs.

Near the market there are several parks: Al Ittihad Park and Al Jazeera (Round) Park. Since the market is near the bay, you can walk to the waterfront cafes and restaurants and enjoy the views.
