In 2025, the surrounding "Faya Palaeolandscape" was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Beyond the museum, the centre offers desert 4x4 safaris, camel and horse rides, and evening stargazing sessions with telescopes (around AED 250 per person, with a dinner add-on available).
Museum admission is AED 25 for adults, AED 15 for children aged 3–12, with a family rate of AED 55. The centre is open Sat–Wed 9:00am–7:00pm, Thu–Fri 9:00am–9:00pm.
