Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization
The museum is located in the center of Sharjah near the corniche. It has three floors housing more than 5,000 exhibits telling the story of the development of Arab civilization. You can take an audio guide or walk through on your own; there's even a section that's interesting for kids.
Admission costs about 10 AED (roughly $3) for adults, 5 AED for children under 12. The English audio guide is paid separately.
Opening hours: Saturday–Thursday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Friday 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
