Historical Centre of Al Ain

The historical centre draws tourists with its many museums, old forts, a small palace, and green parks. It's an ideal place for a family walk, and history buffs could easily spend a whole day here. The main attractions of Al Ain's historical centre include the national Al Ain Museum, telling the story of the Emirates, the Sheikh Zayed Palace Museum, where you can learn more about what a sheikh's life looks like, the Al Jahili Fort, built in the 19th century, the city's Jahili Park, and the blooming Al Ain Oasis, where you can learn about the local irrigation system and rest in the shade of sprawling palm trees.
