KidZania Abu Dhabi is a scaled-down replica of a real city, covering 55,000 square feet in Yas Mall, where children try out adult jobs. It opened in June 2019 as the second KidZania in the UAE after Dubai and is run by Emaar Entertainment.

What to see
The city has more than 40 role-play activities: a university, an acting academy and theatre, a dental clinic, a stop-motion animation studio, a department store, a stadium and a city bus. Every visit starts at an Emirates check-in counter, where children get their city map like passengers at an airport.
For every job children earn kidZos, the city's own currency, which they spend on other activities and at the KidZania Department Store; repeat visits earn stamps in a passport. Role-play is designed for ages 4–16, and toddlers aged 2–3 can join some activities.
Getting there
KidZania is on the ground floor of Yas Mall on Yas Island. The mall has parking, and a taxi is easy too. Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World and Yas Waterworld are nearby.
Planning your visit
A child Economy ticket (4–16) costs AED 185, Premium with all activities and extras AED 255, toddlers aged 2–3 AED 115 and adults AED 85; under-2s go free. You can stay until closing, and most families spend three to six hours. On weekdays the city closes at 20:00, so arrive early.
Before you go
Adults don't take part in activities (except as the theatre audience) and watch through windows; adults are not admitted without a child, and everyone over 16 pays, including nannies. Children under 120 cm must be accompanied. Outside food is not allowed, but there are cafes inside; there are no lockers, but there is stroller parking and prayer rooms.
