Khor Al Mamzar is Dubai's newest public beach, in Al Mamzar by the lagoon next to Al Mamzar Beach Park. Dubai Municipality opened it on 5 May 2026 as the first phase of the AED 500 million Al Mamzar Beaches project; the second phase is the Al Mamzar Corniche.
What's on the beach
The beach. 182,000 m² of sand and a 3.6 km swimming shoreline, watched over from 12 lifeguard towers.
Night beach. A lit 300 m stretch is open 24/7, so you can swim at night too.
Floating walkway — the first in the region. It runs out over the water and splits the water sports zones: kayaks and paddle boats on one side, jet skis and flyboarding on the other.
Sport and leisure. More than 5.5 km of walking, running and cycling tracks, an outdoor gym, volleyball, football and padel courts, playgrounds and barbecue areas. There are 19 cafés and restaurants on the beach, one of them by the floating walkway.
How to get there
The beach is in Al Mamzar, in the north of Deira near the Sharjah border. A taxi is easiest.
Tips before you go
The beach is public and open to everyone. Hours for the main beach have not been published yet; the night beach is open around the clock. Kayaks, paddle boats and jet skis can be hired from operators on site.
